Nursery changing from term time place to non term time place

Please can anyone offer any advice on this? We have just received an email to say that our nursery will no longer be offering term time places moving forward. My child has been on a term time place for 2 years as I am a teacher and now suddenly the nursery says they aren't doing them. Can they drop this on us so suddenly or do we need some notice? This will increase our nursery bill incredibly!!

They can change any of the terms and conditions with the correct notice according to your original contract. You can either keep them at that setting or move settings if you can find another term time setting. It will be to do with the funding and also staff costs most likely. Most settings are struggling to get the figures to add up!

Yes, many settings give one month notice for changes like this and the notice period is usually found in your contract.
