Settling in

If the nursery manager manager has refused to settle in my severely disabled son properly (ie gradually with the parents) to save on costs and my son developed a trauma of nursery and couldn't attend for at least 3.5 days that I paid for, can I ask for my money back? He is on disability living allowance and the nursery still didn't give us extra settling in to maximise profits.

Does your son have an EHCP or care plan at all? What settling in did your son have?

What actually happened?

What do you mean by "the nursery still didn't give us extra settling in to maximise profits." ?

TheBeeb · 04/03/2024 23:36

Is it a mainstream nursery or otherwise? Was it an appropriate setting with the facilities and extra staff required to keep your son safe? What was agreed prior to you signing a contract, seeing as settling in periods are usually mentioned at that stage.

Was he over the trauma in 3.5 days??

@aliatalia2 - are you going to answer any of the requests for a little more information ?
