How far would you travel to nursery?

How far did/would you travel to nursery?

DS is 10 months old and the plan is for him to go to nursery soon. The two nurseries we are looking at are both similar in terms of facilities and price etc. The only difference is the distance. Nursery 1 is slightly closer being a 10 minute drive but also slightly out of my way to work. Nursery 2 is further away, about 15 minutes but is more or less on my way to work.

In abit of a dilemma and need to decide soon 😬

Do you commute to work every day? If so, Nursery 2 isn't really further away because you're already doing the journey.

If it's a trivial difference in terms of distance and convenience, I'd send DS to whichever one 'felt' better and offered the widest breadth of facilities/activities.

Worth the extra 5 minutes for the place you'll feel most confident in.

There are several closer nurseries than the one I chose for DS.
