Christmas gift for staff

Hi there, please could anyone recommend a gift for the staff at my children's nursery. They don't seem to have a keyworker...more 6 or so people that generally look after them. Should I just get chocolates/biscuits or is there anything else? Thanks!

They will have a key person, it's a legal requirement, but that doesn't mean only one person cares for them. You should know who that key person is though!

We get so many boxes of chocs and biscuits for the staff room that we divide them between us all to take home, otherwise we'd still be eating them in July. It's always appreciated!

Thanks @unvillage there is someone that probably would be classed as their key person although it often seems to be all of them helping. That is interesting though and I hadn't realised it was a legal requirement. I will find out who it is.

Yes, a key person doesn't mean they're the only person who does things with the child. They might do their personal care and they're expected to know the child really well and plan for their next steps, but early years settings are team efforts.
