I'm looking into child care arrangements for when I return to work full time in April 2024. Any parents in the Romford/Hornchurch area able to advise on how to source nannies? I would consider sharing a nanny with another family too. Currently the local nurseries are telling me they have no availability till September.

Have a look on www.childcare.co.uk. You can place your own advert or have a look at local nannies. www.nannyjob.co.uk is another place to advertise. Putting as much detail in your advert regarding hours, days, ages of children, expected duties and pay ( quote gross ) and if you require an Ofsted registered nanny/driver etc really helps. Googling local nanny agencies is also a good idea as they can give you advice on the local going rate, contracts and nanny tax companies.
