he's 2.9yo

we tried a year ago when i was pg with ds2 and it was awful - we gave up and i had a mothers help for the first few months after ds2 born instead

but, with school starting next year (gulp) we're going to try again

different nursery this time - small, and to which a few of his friends already go

we went this morning to look around and he happily pottered

he is typical first born son - very close to mummy - so i am a little anxious

come and reassure me (or if you're cod, slap me and tell me to pull myself together)

that is my encouraging noise. It'll be fine and he has friends there and everything will work out and

hmmm hmmmm hmmmm

TheBlonde · 28/02/2008 12:55

I'm sure he will love it

Might be a bit difficult at first but I'm sure he'll settle in and have a great time, and you'll both wonder what all the fuss was about.
Encouraging & v positive vibes coming your way x

oh thank you

i wonder if 2.9yo is generally easier than 1.9yo?

older will definitely be easier
DS started nursery at 2 and wasn't terribly keen on being left (had fun once the tears stopped) but he was a bit too young

now at 3 he is loving it
