Toddler came home with bruise on buttocks

Hi All,

I am a bit at a loss what to do here, would appreciate any input. DD is almost 3 years old and attends nursery 2 days per week.

Dad took her yesterday (tues) morning and I picked her up in the afternoon. She seemed happy. She has been with me the whole time since. Today around lunch time was giving her a bath when I noticed a couple bruises on her buttocks. She gets bruises all the time on her legs, but these seem a bit different, both the shape and the location. I am no expert, but it looks to me like fingers. If anyone has experience, could you let me know if these are regular bruises?

DD is looked after only by me and nursery and she didn’t have any accidents in the last few days at home. How would you handle this topic, would you speak to nursery?

Many thanks

Doesn’t Dad look after her too? I would ask the nursery. Do it calmly and just say that you noticed some bruises and you don’t know where they came from so you’d like to know if they’ve noticed anything.

That bruise looks at a couple of days old to me, not a new one that only happened yesterday.

Looks like she sat on something to Mr.
