Bag for nursery

Probably a stupid question but my 10 month old is off to nursery, they provide most things such as milk, nappies etc I just need to take change of clothes, sleeping bag, comforter. Can I send LO with the changing bag I use when we go out or does it need to be a backpack

You could use your changing bag I guess, but a rucksack will probably fit better on the pegs (probably not much space) and also you can keep it stocked with just 'nursery stuff'. I always liked to have my changing bag for home ready stocked so we could go out without too much faffing and refilling missing stuff.

Is the nursery part of a chain? I ask because ours gave us a branded bag when DS started - it used to be a cotton tote bag but they just switched to backpack style. But as long as it can hang on a peg and has their name on I think any bag would be fine!

But agree with comment above, I'd recommend as separate bag to your change bag - we keep ours at nursery and just top up as needed. Avoids having to remember to bring it everyday!

Thanks I’ll just buy a small backpack then!

Small backpack is ideal for this as likely to be on a peg.

Small back pack or one of those gym bags?

Lexi41 · 30/03/2023 11:57

My nursery will provide gym bag type things so I think that would be suitable too? And you can get them quite cheap…

Our nursery doesn't want too bigger bag, due to limited space to store it. My 2 have different versions of this from next.
