Childcare cost increase

My DD’s nursery is massively increasing their meal fee’s from January. She gets the 30hrs funded childcare and we also receive UC, so we don’t claim child tax credit. Does anyone know if the childcare element of UC covers additional nursery fees, like meals?

They don’t cover meals but it depends how your nursery invoices for things really, if it shows what exactly the charges are for. For normal fees theyl still pay 85% up to their set limit.
