DD started preschool in September. She’s 3.5 and seemed to take to it really well. But since half term she’s been more and more reluctant to go. Then she was ill and since then it’s been really rocky. Staff say she’s really needy for adult attention but most of the time she’s happy enough-though not as bubbly and cheerful as she was at the start. It’s now escalated to her crying every night before bed about going.
has anyone experienced this? Does it pass? It’s so upsetting to see

I’ve never experienced this, occasionally a bit upset if not feeling well but generally happy.

I have witness children that are school age crying most mornings (year 1) and it’s awful. So not sure it will pass quickly.

Anxiety and separation anxiety are awful. I have seen some parents drawing love hearts on their kids wrists and on the parents. You power them up my pushing the together in the morning then when you need a cuddle from your parent you press the heart to make you feel better.

we also got my kid a worrying book which seemed to help
