DS has not been going to nursery for very long, and up to now has seemed to enjoy it, but he did not want to go today and cried when i left, i know he will be fine and soon get on with the fun, but how do you cope with leaving them when this happens

Aww, you tend to just sob in the car on the way down the road.

Once I looked so upset leaving, that they told me to phone in 1/2hr so that they could reassure me he had stopped sobbing - and he had.

He goes one morning a week, normally cries as I leave him, but tends to have stopped by the time I get down the stairs! (Upstairs room for babies).

when my ds did this, i hugged him, reassured him i'd be back, i walked out of the building and cried
went home. cried some more. waited and called and checked in on him. he was fine within minutes!

he will settle in as time goes on. and soon, he wont want to leave!
