Anybody with any fantastic nursery ideas please let me know, am getting worried I won't have anything for my 1 year old. Went to one today, Cavendish Lodge in Streatham, fell in love with it but no spaces until 2009. I had no idea wait lists were that long. Please anyone know of any lovely nurseries they could give me advise on. I am a little fussy but when you are talking about childcare you have to be.

Many thanks

Sarah

Only one I know of is Dolphin near Tooting Common, is that near you?

More than one MN-er has had children at Elm Park Nursery in Clarence Ave, and been very happy, I believe.

But no personal experience.

My DS went to Oak Tree Day Nursery on Blairderry Road, close to Streatham Hill. It's quite a small nursery, but the staff were lovely and friendly, and genuinely interested in the children.

Cherubins Day Nursery SW2 is that near you.

I went to visit, they have a wonderful self baby room with a separate sleep area. They also monitor all the rooms via CCTV. staff are really friendly too.
