Hi Mums & Dads! Our 2-yr old daughter is starting to be frustrated at home, so we're thinking of booking her into a nursery for a couple of mornings or afternoons a week. She is really sociable and bright (of course!), so can anyone recommend a nursery in Beckenham? Thanks for your help!!

hi my DS used to go to Teddies until we moved north. Having tried two others since so have a bit to compare them with and was really happy with them. The 2 year old area opens out onto their playground which is enclosed and my wee boy loved all the bikes and climbing equipment and they used to go out loads esp in the summer. We left 20m ago and my main moan was a high turnover of staff. They weere v supportive over issues like potty training and had their own cook.

Ta Rhumba - I'm booked to go look at Teddies this Thursday, and they seem to be the only local place with space to take her soon. Am concerned about the high turnover you mention, but will ask them about it when I'm there.

Has anyone used one of the Montessori's in Beckenham, and Rhumba - which nursery have you moved to now and how does it rate?

moved up to Glasgow so not much use to you but first one we used didn't have a dedicatd outside space and so although they went out for walks they didn't go out so much as was more of an effort for them all to go out. Seond one I used does have outside space but there are only two rooms one for the under twos and one for over which is quite an age range. I think a lot of outer london nurseries do have a high turnover.

Sorry Rhumba, my misunderstanding! I thought you meant slightly north of Beckenham!
