Which nursery?

So my 21 month old currently attends a CIC day nursery, he loves it there and he formed really close connections with the girls there. They’re all lovely, the manager is equally lovely. Not quite old enough for “friends” per say and he’s pretty much the biggest in the baby room, but moves to the toddler room in July so I imagine he’ll start making friends. They take kids until they start school. I’m currently on maternity leave with my third and he will be attending this nursery when I go back to work.

my eldest attends the local primary school and the school has a nursery attached to it. Being totally honest, I don’t know masses about the nursery side of the school. However I’ve always been relatively happy with the school for my eldest. I’ve been wondering whether to keep my toddler in his day nursery or whether to move him to the school nursery once he’s turned 3 (so would be September 2023, a while yet!).

has anyone got any experiences with school nurseries and whether they thought it was beneficial for their kids before starting at the school? The nursery my toddler attends is local and I imagine a fair amount of the kids that attend will end up at the same primary as him, but just trying to figure out what would be best for him 😊

No experience of school nursery but my plan was to always send him to one, it didn't happen.
I've kept him at the private one as he loves it so much and we're really happy with him being there.
I don't want to take it away from him until I have to and he starts reception.

Mine moved from a private nursery to the school nursery and holiday camps as soon as their was a space for them, I thought the quality of education was sooooo much better and really helped them quickly settle into school.

My son went to the school nursery and my daughter went to a private nursery.

It made no difference to starting school at all.

whichever makes your life easier OP- in the grand scheme of his education I doubt it will make any difference, as for friends moving over, young kids change friends so often I wouldnt worry.
