Nurseries in Cardiff - Advice needed

Hi All, I am just starting the process of deciding which nursery to send my DD to (9 months). I have read through all the old threads re:Cardiff nurseries and am more confused than ever!!!! Have heard scare stories about large staff/baby ratios, staff feeding babies junk, staff not feeding babies, not phoning parents when baby is ill. Would really appreciate any up-to-date info/opinions/experiences other Mum's have.

The nurseries I am considering are:
University Day Care Centre
Acorns, Park Grove
Noah's Ark Fidlas Rd
Nazareth House Column Rd

or any others in the Heath, Cathays, Roath, Llanishen or nearby areas.

Thanks xxx

Hi.
I would strongly suggest Lilliputs nursery which is in St Agnes Road, Heath/Birchgrove area of Cardiff. My DD started there when she was 9 months old; she is now 26 months. My sister used to work as a NN and also told me lots of horror stories about the nurseries she had worked in. She suggested Lilliputs because it is half council and half private. The council nurseries tend to be strict about policies and so far I have no complaints.
Good luck!
