Changing nursery

Hello,

Am in a panic. I (or rather my nursery), has an issue with the hours I want her in, despite telling me a few months ago that this was fine. All such a mess and I'm devastated. She's 10.5 months.

Does anyone have any experience changing nurseries at this age? Was it ok? She's an easy going baby. She will have been there 1 month by the time we need to change.

Thank you

Hello all,

I need your help please. I made a written complaint to a nursery and the response I received was very dismissive . Now the staff seem to be very rude to me and I feel I don’t want my child to be going to this place . I was told yesterday by one of the staff members that she did not feel comfortable talking to me when I asked what my child had eaten . I found this very rude … I’m not sure whether I can report this somewhere but I’d appreciate your help . What would you do ,

@isthatsocrazy I moved my DD nurseries when she was 11 months and recently my DS at 2 years. She was quite a difficult baby and he is very easygoing. They both adapted really quickly with no problems at all. Hopefully with your and the staff's support she will be fine!

Thanks so much for your reply.

Sorry to hear you are also having nursery issues! It's hard enough going back to work without having issues with nurseries.

I'd terminate the contract- there should be no penalty as they can't fulfil their obligations. Find somewhere else and start fresh from there.

This is what we are planning to do. I cannot imagine leaving my daughter in the place where the culture of lying is thriving and where staff cover up their wrongdoing. Do you happen to know where can I report this ? Thanks
