How often do you get updated by the nursery?

My son started nursery about a month ago. At first we was sent pictures of what he was up to in the day which made me feel so much better as he looked really happy!

The past two weeks I haven't had any updates on what he's done, no pictures. Just what he's had for meals. I understand they are really busy but I just wondered if that is normal?

Hi sorry to post on an older thread but we are in a similar situation....my son's daycare doesn't tell us one word about what they have been doing all day( 9-5). No tapestry or similar app. No pics or parent handover. At pick up they will only shrug and say "he's been ok"..and that's when we've specifically asked them to tell us more about his day.

It's £££ in fees....why aren't they telling us anything? He's a bright toddler, can count, read the letters of the alphabet and enjoys songs, stories and trains/dinosaurs/messy play all the usual stuff.

What do we do? Wwyd? Tia xx (pls be kind!x)
