30 Hours whilst studying?

DS has just turned 3 so qualifies for 15/30 hours in September. I'm due to start University in September and wondering if he'll qualify for the 30 hours?

I've tried looking online and can't find anything about it. I'm currently employed but don't work enough hours or earn enough to qualify.

Will my maintenance loan qualify as income? Or does it have have to be income from a job?

Thanks!

You have to be working to qualify
Studying doesn’t count as working
Have you checked with student finances whether you can claim nursery fees while studying
Many students qualify and it’s paid straight to the provider

You should be able to qualify for 15 hours as everyone does. But no, for the 30 hours you have to be working at least a certain amount (16 hours a week?). But there is usually financial support for childcare available through student finance.
