Teenage babysitter

After opinions please.
Thinking about asking 15yo girl next door to babysit our kids 18 month old while myself and dp go out locally in the evening occasionally.

We’ve been here for nearly a year and ds is 18 months. We’d like to start getting out... we don’t have family who can babysit.

Want to hear opinions before I ask my neighbour if she thinks her daughter would like to. I’m of the thinking I know and trust the family next door which I’d better than a fe recommendation? Also thinking that 15yold’s mum will be next door keeping an eye too if you see what I mean...

Would you?
TIA Smile

I would probably start by asking her to babysit while I'm home doing other stuff but available if she needed me, so that both of you feel comfortable if she ends up babysitting on her own.
