Hi all I am leaving a review for Ruskin House Nursery in Herne Hill.
- When my 18 month old started the nursery I was extremely worried as he has developmental delays. I was worried that they would not understand him and we would struggle. My little boy started in the pandemic and really struggled at first as I was unable to come in. However after a couple of weeks of separation anxiety he started to shoes signs to settle. The staff really supported me as an anxious mum and kept me up to date on the fantastic app they used.
- My son was moved up to toddler group at 2. His motor skills have always been a struggle however again with motivation the nursery got him walking up and down stairs with confidence and he is now able to go up and do climbing frames with ease. Again I was updated when needed to ensure we were both working towards his goals.
- My sons language has come on leaps and bounds he is a little chatterbox.
- My son happily gets ready every morning knowing he is going to nursery and will walk through the doors saying bye.
5 The staff know him so so well and have got him eating fruit and veg and trying new meals.
- My boy is a social bunny and is such a happy boy.
7 we are Sikh and celebrate Vaisakhi the nursery made a conscious effort to decorate the nursery and dress up in traditional clothing to ensure my sons religion was celebrated.
- The misery are multicultural and diverse and go the extra mile to ensure they stay this way.
- My son is safe and happy everyday. The nursery have taught him life skills and supported him through every milestone.
I am so pleased with the choice we made.
One of the best investments I have ever made.
I have put this out there because as a mum I know the importance of looking for the right nursery. And I know reviews from mums who struggle with anxiety need this. Hope this helps.
Thank you Ruskin House Nursery
