Good nursery in Glasgow southside for child with additional play needs

Hi all,

Wondered if you could help me. We are looking for a suitable nursery in the southside of Glasgow for our son who will be 11 months in October and my wife will be returning to work so we are looking for a nursery.

Our son was born with a weakness to the left side of his body and we have been given exercises to do with him so that hopefully the effect of the weakness is nil or minimal. My wife is especially concerned if she is back at work, even for 2 days, that she won't be doing the exercises with him. We have looked at a few nurseries in Newton Mearns and all have a ratio of 1:3 with babies. We are just keen on finding a nursery where the ratio is less than this or others have found staff to be really attentive so i will have confidence they will do the exercises with him.

Many thanks :)

Have you tried asking on any local fb groups? There are often people asking for nursery recommendations on local East Renfrewshire and Mearns face book groups. I often see Happy Days Too in Busby getting great recommendations. Your child will have a care plan no matter what setting he attends and this care plan should incorporate all his needs and ensure these are met.
