Choosing a nursery in Lockdown

I’m due back to work in May.
PFB is now nearly 10 months. We’re moving to a new area of the country in a few weeks.
I’m trying to find a nursery place but we’re not able to physically visit any because of Covid lockdown restrictions, and this is making it very hard for me to choose, as I don’t feel comfortable sending my baby to a place I have never been before with people I have never met!
Has anyone else faced this issue? How are you choosing your childcare during the lockdown?

Thanks in advance!

I feel this way too and it's stopped me putting my son into nursery (so far).

I've heard that some nurseries will offer tours on a Saturday, when the children aren't there, but this has not been the case for any I have approached.

I think settling in a child who hasn't been in childcare before will also be hard when you can't enter the setting.

There are certainly no easy answers! Good luck. X
