Do you think early years will be closed?

So they closed in the first lockdown but not in the November one, although neither did schools. However they've also changed so many things since the first lockdown.

Really not wanting a debate started over whether they should or shouldn't close, but do you think they will or won't close if we go into a full lockdown? Trying to gauge what to be prepared for as a single mum with zero help.

I work in a nursery (though not in England), and no I don't think nurseries will close. The government is want us open so parents can work.

Scotland’s nurseries are closing except for key worker families, hopefully England follow suit. I’m a nursery manager with my own toddler who attends nursery.

I think they will close too. Run a nursery in a England though that doesn’t give me any more of a clue about what the government will decide!

It’s really hard to know.

Until today I would have said open but if it’s a full lockdown it’ll be one if the few things left open.

Ours is outside with extra mitigation so I hope so
