Where do you all get your clothes and shoes for nursery? I am reluctant to spend a fortune when things getting ruined. They do a lot of things outside - looking for recommendations, particularly with Autumn just around the corner.

H&M and Zara (their cheapy leggings are the best!)

Dd lives in leggings, jumpers and a puddle suit in winter, the puddle suit is the key as it’s not padded so she doesn’t boil, but big enough to put layers on underneath. She still comes home filthy, but she is dry!

Thank you. I assume it's wellies for outside in the autumn?

Yes wellies or waterproof lace up boots. I tend to buy a half size bigger so I can stick thick socks on dd, it works well.

Supermarkets, or pre-owned bundles from Facebook. Our nursery supplies puddle suits and wellies if we want, or we can send our own in to stay there if we prefer.

We definitely have a separate wardrobe for nursery . Everything gets ruined by paint or mud . My nursery is big on messy play !!!

I buy him cheap stuff from supermarkets usually . I have some second hand stuff as well .

Shoes I don’t go cheap on as he’s in them all day and fit and support matter to me. He wears Start Rite and they are paint stained but whatever . Footwear quality is important to me . Also , he was constantly getting them soaked during water play so we now pack crocs for him to wear when he’s playing with water and his nursery has been good with that .
