15h funding (2.5yo) but circumstances changed

I was made redundant in March, so we were down to one wage in the household for the whole of lockdown. We were granted 15h free funding in June for our 2.5yo, he started going to nursery 1 day a week in July and we just pay £10 charge a day for his meals.

This week I've started a new job, PT hours but boosts our household income right up. I doubt we're now eligible for the free 15h but I can't see where I need to report this. Do I need to tell the nursery we want to switch to fully paid sessions?

Usually with the 2 year old funding it's not taken away once it's granted

Just inform your nursery and see what they say

@stripes416 I have, they are a bit useless with admin so haven't heard anything. Just wanted to gather info from others experience in the meantime.

Once you have been accepted as being eligible for free early years education (15 hours free childcare for two-year-olds), your child will continue to receive free childcare even if you have a change of circumstances, such as no longer qualifying for benefits.

Once you get 2 year funding then you get it till the 3 year funding kicks in, regardless of your circumstances

Yes it remains in place even if your circumstances change.

Amazingly they get it until they are three. I had to sign on to jobseekers and didn't know I could get two year old funding because of that (I have zero experience in benefits). I literally signed on, signed her to nursery and have just got a job to start two weeks later and we still qualify! I'm so happy because I had zero help with my first child x
