I’ve been told you can start your nursery claim (for the 80% help) a month before there actually in nursery has anyone done this? Experiences?

80% help?

Are you talking about help with childcare costs via Universal Credit? That's 85%.

If you are taking about Tax Free Childcare where the government pay 20% and you pay 80% then you can apply within 30 days of going back to work if you are on maternity leave
