Nurseries in Fulham

Hi there,

My family is new to the Fulham area and would like to know which nurseries are the best and what you think of them. The ones that we look at are:

  • The Madisson Nursery
  • Pippa popins
  • Busy Bees
  • Bright Horizon
Does anybody have children in these nurseries? Are there any other ones we should be looking at? It would be great if the nursery was close to the Parsons Green or potentially Fulham stations....

Many thanks in advance xx

have a look at beau peeps. I know it isn't one you mentioned but it is in walking distance of Parsons Green and Fulham Broadway tube stations. you can see information about the admissions etc here as it can be hard to see on the website x

Hi, I have heard lots of good reviews from Peppa Pop-ins www.pippapopins.com. The best advice is to go and see the nursery and certainly read reviews about them online before signing any agreement. Just be aware, some nurseries such as London Nursery Schools #LNScommunity) charge deposits of £3000 and won't return it to you if you leave the school sooner than 12 months or don't give 3 months notice. If your notice is even 1 day less than the 3 months, then they will issue you the next term's invoice (almost double your deposit) and deduct it from that invoice. So in effect, even though you would be leaving the nursery and have given notice, you still owe them around £3000. If you challenge them, then they will threaten legal proceedings against you. So in short, make sure you read their agreement throughly and go for a nursery with good reviews online (whether google, Ofsted, local council or CMA). Good luck!

Hello! How is your search going? I’m also moving to Fulham (around Parsons Green) and looking for a nursery for my son. Was wandering if you looked into more options and have any advice? Thank you :)

MrsHopeful88 · 30/05/2020 06:09

Hi MinaZai,
We applied and got a place at the Parsons Green Nursery on Cortayne rd. I would try and apply asap because spaces are running out of spaces! Good luck :)

Hi @MrsHopeful88, are you satisfied with Parsons Green Nursery so far? Their communication regarding admissions process has not green great so far...but perhaps it's due to covid restrictions.
@MinaZai, which nursery have you ended up with?
I started looking for a nursery for my son in Parsons Green area. Thank you! :)

MrsHopeful88 · 27/04/2021 19:50

Hi @lenfantsrb,
We’re starting in the summer this year so I don’t have any feedback yet unfortunately. Because of covid, everything seems to be changed a bit but I would call them if I had any questions, they’re very friendly and helpful. Good luck x

@MrsHopeful88 Thanks! And good luck!! :)

Not sure if this is still helpful but my son has been at Pippa Popins for the last year and they have been absolutely amazing, handled COVID really well and made parents feel very safe. The teachers are all angels. We couldn't be happier! Best of luck to you finding the right nursery for your little one! x

I always think the one in Fulham palace looks amazing. Massive garden, loads of great garden activities

Lily7050 · 11/10/2021 09:54

@Buttons294749: The nursery in Fulham Palace, is it Fledglings at the Palace www.fledglingsatthepalace.co.uk/contact-us/?

Hi @MrsHopeful88 How has it been so far at Parsons Green nursery? Are you happy with it? Considering it as well.. thanks

MrsHopeful88 · 23/01/2022 08:40

Hi there,

Our daughter has now been in the Parsons Green Nursery for 6 months and she (and us) absolutely loves it! They have a lot of activities, they’re very professional and helpful with advice on raising a child! Definitely worth the money! They are a bit inflexible with pickup times but that’s because they dobro want the children’s routine to be disrupted. Highly recommend! X

Hi there, I see your little one is at parsons green nursery - I can’t quite figure out from their site if the close over the summer? Or is it just the Christmas break? I’m sure i could probably give them a call but afraid I may have missed it and look silly asking 😆

goldilocksohno · 03/03/2025 13:17

We sent our child to Parsons House Nursery (Jesses House) - Biggest regret of my life so far.

Not safe and dangerous

Completely reliant on Bank staff (temporary, agency). our child was miserable, cold and undernourished. I don't know what they were doing to the child but we reported it to OFSTED.

Just don't

Karolina89 · 25/05/2025 21:43

Completely agree with @goldilocksohno

We removed our child from Parsons House Nursery. It’s unsafe and the staff culture is dishonest.

Dropped baby, baby found with scissors, babies attempted to be handed back to incorrect parents, children handed back dirty, children handed back with unknown bumps and bruises.

The place is appalling.

Hi @goldilocksohno @Karolina89 our son (10 months) started at PH nursery last week and isn't settling well - not eating, very unsettled during the day, different "key workers" every day etc - what has been your experience? Any info you have would be appreciated.
