Please please for the love of God keep your children at home. Young children are spreading this virus. I have heard it all yesterday, from parents moaning because they couldn't cope with their children full time so would do anything not to have them home. Does this include giving them calpol and masking the symptoms of this virus? I would say yes for sure! Attitude of parents on maternity leave I am a key worker so need the space.... Even though they are on Mat leave and not actually working. So not only are they putting the older children at risk but also the new borns. I hope and pray every one of the children I work with stays healthy and safe. Please apply some common sense. It is not about the money at this moment in time it is about preserving life. Deal with the money side later, once you have come through this alive.

Honestly, the conversations I heard at the nursery this morning. My husband is a key worker (Sahm), I need to go to work (hairdresser and travel agent) STAY AT HOME people.
I've been on the organising side of a secondary school this week and I don't know how we are going to know for sure on Monday who is actually entitled to a place. Tbh all these people who think they are entitled to send their children in could well just do so, it's not like I'm asking for payslips on the door.
Keep them at home if they can safely be there!!
