19 week pregnant looking for nurseries in Clapham Common

Hi all,

I live in Clapham and, despite my baby not being born yet, I have been advised to put my baby in the wait list for a nursery.

Baby is due in late June and I am planning to take 11 month of maternity leave. Does anybody know any good nursery in the area? I have budgeted around £1500 - £1600 full time.

Thanks!

There are oodles of nurseries in that part of London.

Are you looking for full day care (so you can return to work) or part time?

LauraPan · 25/01/2020 21:05

I will go back to work full time, but only 4 days a week.

I am struggling to find a nursery for children under 2.

I Googled “Clapham day nurseries” and got a list as long as your arm.

99% of which take babies. (Pressed send too soon...sorry)

I have Googled that too and checked all the results one by one. Anyway I was hoping to get some recommendations in here

My two went to Abacus Ark in North London (DS2 is still there) and they have a branch in Clapham. Many of the teachers moved from the North London branch to Clapham when it opened and are really lovely people. Is this within easy reach of you?
