My DC is on the waiting list for a local nursery which opened two years ago. It’s never been inspected by Ofsted. I signed up shortly after it opened and assumed it would be inspected before DC was due to start, but it hasn’t been.

Any ideas why it hasn’t been inspected? Would you send your DC to a nursery with no Ofsted rating?

The ofsted site will have explained why when you searched.... settings are inspected within 30 months of registering so it won’t be long for them.

The one I work in was left even longer due to an ofsted admin cock-up. They should get one soon.

It may just not have come around in the ofsted cycle yet, it will be inspected anytime and the nursery know this. Best thing is to visit a few times and get a feel for it.
