extended nursery hours in Scotland

Hi
Does anyone know what is happening with the extended nursery hours in Scotland? Are they available yet? Is there a problem getting them up and running in schools?
There seems to be confusion where I live.

They don't officially start till August 2020. Some nurseries are running pilot schemes to see how it works and to make sure everything is in place for August 2020.

I'm in Edinburgh and many nurseries who haven't moved to the extended hours still have no idea what model their nursery will have next year. Some were told they would get new nurseries but then they have been cancelled.
