Taxfree Childcare scheme: how do I get reference number?

Hi all, my 2yo daughter has just started nursery and im paying via the 20% Govt Taxfree Childcare Scheme.
The nursery have asked for a gov reference number so they can trace the payments, but I cannot for the life of me find any reference in any of the communications about this account.
I've sent an email message to gov.uk as I can't find a number to call.
Anyone else using this scheme, know where i can find this reference?

The reference number relates to the payment you have made and the middle part of the ref number is the first initial and first few letters of your child’s name

So for example if the child is Billy Smith

It will be something like

123XXX456BSMI890GHT

So they need to cross reference the amount against the reference on THEIR bank when it drops in

It is the MOST user unfriendly site EVER, I detest being paid via it and the parents who use it hate it too!!

As a childcare provider we get no notice that someone has initiated a payment to us, and we cannot see them dropping in either
