30 hours and starting reception

My twins are at nursery full time throughout the year and will be staying up until the last day before they start school in September. I have read that the 30 hours is "until they start reception" but I wonder if anyone knows if there is a set date or if it's the actual date the child starts. The reason I am asking is that they start a week after the rest of the school goes back so I don't know if I will get funded hours for that week or if I'll have to pay for all of it as that's going to be a huge bill!

It’s to the last day in August

Funded hours are term time only so you’ll get a bill for August anyway as the 30 hours are the term before they go to school

As my girls attend all year round I get a flat rate invoice each month so the funded hours are taken into account and spread across the year with paid hours so I wasn't sure. But the nursery have confirmed they can't claim in September for them

They won’t be able to claim because they claim for the whole term. Is there anyone who can help you that week instead of having to pay the full whack? I am so dreading child care bills!
