Check their website, where I expect you’ll find a link to their Ofsted report and a 'phone number, then call them to enquire about fees. You might not get accurate fees information from other families, because what they pay will be adjusted for the various types of financial help on offer; actual hours used; possible discounts or charges for optional services, etc, etc, meaning everyone’s bill is different.

Always take Ofsted reports with a pinch of salt: there are numerous reasons why they can be unreliable.

Getting balanced reviews is next to impossible. See if they have a listing with reviews on childcare.co.uk. You can ask the nursery for testimonials from current/former users, although they’ll almost certainly vet these to ensure you only see the positive. On the other hand, bad reviews aren’t always a true reflection of quality. You usually find bad comments come from parents who had unrealistic expectations: frequently they’ve been excluded for not paying their bills, so they make a load of false accusations about poor standards to try and justify themselves.
