Hi,

Am looking for some info about nurseries that are good please & any to avoid.

We’re moving down from Glasgow to be closer to family - I’ll be working in Wythenshawe Hosp, other half near Stanford Pk in Altrincham. Looking for a nurse close by or inbetween. Little one is nearly 1yr old & will be in nursery 2-3days/week.

Thanks in advance for any info 🙂

Kids Allowed is a local chain, with a great reputation, outstanding ofsted etc and has nurseries on the hospital site and in Altrincham.

daynurseries.co.uk is a good place to see parent reviews of all nurseries in the area

My children attended a few nurseries in this area. The best of the bunch was Richmond house kindergarten in Hale village. Such lovely staff and a gorgeous shady l garden with chickens. They were very flexible too. Lots of friends had children in the elmscott nurseries and were happy with them but I have no direct experience. kids planet on corner of hale rd and Westminster road is perfectly located for you. I went for a look around it when we moved to the area and really didn't like the feel of it, couldn't put my finger on why.
