Hatching Dragons Twickenham

Hi Everyone,

We were planning on sending our child to Hatching Dragons nursery in Twickenham when he reached a couple of years old, however, it seems to have shut down. Does anyone know the reason why it shut or if it is permanently shut as (from afar and on the internet) it seemed to be busy and have good Offsted reports?

They had 48 places and only 11 children last February after being open for 5 months. Numbers of children might be an issue.

They have another 2 nurseries. One hasn't been inspected yet as it's quite new. The other has been given a notice to improve.

I read a line still up on the schools website: "We are delighted that Hatching Dragons are temporarily based at GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy". Seems to have taken the school by surprise too!

There is (or was) another bilingual Chinese nursery at Marble Hill, which probably didn’t help matters but then that’s typical Twickenham, opening multiple niche businesses at the same time (see also milkshake bars and rib shacks...)

Hi oliholland, it's closed.my friend emailed then few days ago and they responded stating it closed in march due to lots of other nurseries in the area.
