Hi I was wondering if anyone could please confirm this.

My DD is 3 and goes to nursery 15 hours a week and only goes term time. I've had my invoice for February to pay for her meals and they've put down that I am paying for meals for the week which is February half term but my daughter won't be there that week. So do I need to pay for meals when she won't be there?

No definitely wrong. Point it out to someone at the nursery. They cannot charge you if they are closed.

I don’t think they should be charging for half term as the 15hours are given for term time only so your Lo won’t be in school during half term. Could just be a error or there end, happens all the time at my Lo’s nursery & I just speak to the reception staff and they sort it out

No you shouldn’t pay for meals that week.

You will need to ask the nursery
But it might be that they have averaged out the cost so you pay the same each month
That's what we do in the nursery where I work
You would still pay 38 x school lunch cost divided by 11 months

There may be some holiday time charges because the nursery will have expenses even when you’re not attending.
