Nursery choice

My daughter just turned 1 and looking at nurseries for her. We are looking at new beginnings(loughton), kids Inc(loughton) and bright horizons (Epping). Anyone prefer one over the other? Please help!!! I'm confused and can't make up my mind.
New beginnings are Ofsted outstanding but I felt the babies were crying a bit. Not all the carers looked cheerful. The facilities are great with plenty of outdoor space.
Bright horizons in Epping is good and we visited it 4 times and still not entirely convinced. Don't know why.
Kids inc's had good facilities not as great at new beginnings but the babies were super happy. Carers(most) looked cheerful and happy.
I'm so confused and was hoping someone will recommend one over the other to help me make a choice.
Thanks again,
Aanya

i have never heard of any of them. but judging by the info you just gave me, i would go for the Kids inc one. to me, the kids happiness is most important, and so if the careers are happy then that will rub off on the kids.

wishing you all the best x

Thanks. Makes perfect sense if you put it that way.
Would like to hear from others who have their kids in new beginnings if it is just me?
I do like new beginnings otherwise.

Nursery nurse here- been one for 20 years. Go to the one that the children seem happy and the staff. Worth so much.

Happy babies and staff.

You can buy nice toys and decorate well that's down to money but you cant buy happy children and staff that's down to how you operate your ethos and how good an employer you are. Children get more out of old boxes and adult interaction than a book case that isn't used because the books will get ruined. Go with happy child every time.

You’ve been to visit the same nursery 4 times?
Wow, that’s quite unusual
Most parents sign up after just one visit

@insancerre, this is where I feel I'm overthinking thisSmile. Perhaps her current nursery is not bad especially if it's in the top 10 nursery in England.
We signed up to kids inc and will see how it goes. If it's the same level of service or worse we will go back to new beginnings. Just wondering how this will impact her settling in as she will be going to one nursery (been a week in her current nursery) while settling in the other. I may have made life difficult for my baby in the process but to be certain I'll have to try this out. I'm starting work this Monday so will have to leave her in her current nursery.
Also, we have noticed that new beginnings has upped their communication in the last few days. So we are happy in that sense but still question about her happiness. She is fine at her current nursery and I see that she is always on someone's lap! She is a clingy baby and loves cuddles.
Got myself in a middle, haven't I?
