Is anyone here a nursery worker? I want to get nice end of year presents for my kids preschool workers. Just wondered what sort of gifts tend to go down well? TIA

I always like wine 😂
That's my favourite

Bump! Dd is finishing her nursery at the end of July after 3 years there, want to get something but not sure what really.

I thought wine, or a nice thank you mug or something. I'm a secondary school teacher so would be a bit weird getting hand made kids stuff. I love the hand print mugs etc but wondered if a nursery worker would find that a bit rubbish as imagine you'd see that everyday?

Also do you just buy for key worker or for all the staff?

We are making sugar scrubs, lip balms, hair wax (bought too many ingredients!) and bath sachets.

In previous years have given a nice serving plate full of home made muffins and breads, a papercutting and kokedama plants.

Or wine. This is always acceptable and appreciated!

I still have a mug a child gave me 20 years ago. I think about him every time I use it.

I got some bath bombs and a candle from one of my key children for Christmas. I work in a very deprived area so we never expect anything and I really appreciated it. It’s honestly the thought that counts, it’s a difficult and underpaid job so it’s lovely to get anything. I always keep cards from children. Wine, chocolates or bath stuff are probably your best bets.

Thank you, some great ideas 😊 we have a thousand mugs at home but I always keep mugs kids have given me and treasure them. I just wondered if in a nursery you'd get thousands of them. I'm torn between mug with hand print and wine/chocolate. I am so grateful to the wonderful staff I might get both xx

I love all you ideas of handmade bath stuff or baked goods but I'd probably kill or poison someone attempting that!! Xxx

I always take in a case of prosecco and a box of biscuits.

A gift to the nursery as a whole.., Does the nursery have a logo? Maybe have the logo put onto a breadboard as a gift to the nursery. Also a word map with staff names, nursery names, words to do with nurseries eg, laughter, jigsaws, sand, park trips ect.

Presents for Individial staff- flowers, a fashion bracelet or scarf, a Yankee candle, oil burner, a selection of pamper things, boots number 7 range, gel nail voucher, nail varnish set, cinema voucher, a pencil case with some nice stationary and note book. Just a few I have received in the past 🙂
