If you are funded for up to 15 hours for an under 2 can the nursery say you can only have 10 hours and not the 5? So a full day at nursery and then not a half day to use the other 5 hours.

They don't have to offer all 15 (although as mentioned above, they may be stretching it over the year). And you don't have to use all 15 if you don't want to. It's up to 15 hours, which can be offered according to individual setting policies.

Try and think about how much you're saving, rather than how much it's costing.

If they stretch it over the year it is approx 11.5. I would query why you cannot get the extra 1.5 a week - that does not seem right.

They can dictate the hours eg full days only if applies to all eg 2 full days charging for 5 hours
