Sending kids to daycare for 2 months

Just wanted to get opinions on whether it's worth sending my children to daycare for a couple of months.
My daughter is 5 and she was in daycare until Sep last year when we moved to a different area for my work, she has been home since then. my son who is 3 and not potty trained, has never been to a daycare.
I had to quit my job since it wasn't working out and now we are moving back to our old area in Aug. Everyone keeps telling me to put them in daycare so that they get used to it, but I"m not sure if it'll be too stressful for them to go to a daycare here for 2 months, then move to a completely new area and start a new school again. Any advice is welcome.

I’d wait until you have moved.

I'd wait until you've moved too.

Definitely wait! No point in doing it for such a short time if you don't need to.

Kids that age are pretty adaptable, and two months is forever. Depends more on your time, money etc. If they would enjoy or benefit from some time in a social group, I’d go for it.

How far are you from your new( old!) area? Could you look at something there for continuity or social / music/ gym classes etc. Two months then upping sticks would be disruptive imho. Good luck with moving.
