Is it too much for a 3 year old!

I have had a job offer and am now frantically trying to find childcare for September.
My son has just turned 3 and I've been a stay at home mum for the majority of this time.
He currently attends a preschool for 3 hours, 3 days a week. The only childcare option with me going back to work seems to be private nursery (we have no family that can help and the local childminders are completely booked up and there is no way I can afford a nanny).
I guess I just need reassurance (from complete strangers) that being in nursery 7:30-5:30 5 days a week will be ok for him....

Of course it will be okay for him.
He won't be the only child there that amount of time, or the youngest. It's completely normal, unfortunately we have to work. It just makes weekends even more special getting to spend time together.
