Hi,
Does any of you have experience with The Nest nursery in Brighton?

I am looking for nurseries for my child in the Brighton and Hove area, near Seven dials and was wondering whether you have any advice to give me. Any comments, advice, review highly appreciated.

Hello,

With The Nest, I feel it really depends on the age of your child and your style of parenting. I'd suggest visiting the nursery (at its busiest time if you can arrange that) and see how you feel about it.
Some of the staff are absolutely brilliant, others not so brilliant.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

I have two children, 1 and 3.5 and was recommended to The Nest when we moved here. I was at a group and met a couple of parents from there. I had a look around and I was really impressed. It appeared to be a much calmer than my previous nursery and the staff were so friendly too. They werent able to give me the flexibility I needed due to availability but I decided to take a space anyway. I have not been let down. Both of my children love to go in and have made lovely realtionships with several of the staff and children there. Of course I have heard of some minor complaints from parents, but I think if you havent had experience of other nurseries you may not appreciate how good this nursery is at really caring about individual children. They use Tapestry, and I get one or two updates on there for each of mine weekly. I can not say enough good things about this place. Its got busier since we started, but the atmosphere hasnt changed. I am happy that my youngest can stay here until they go to school.

Thank you very much to both mums for your replies and apologies for late response on my part, but have not checked my netmums account recently. Your comments are very helpful and a good guidance on my decision!
