Would you let this slide, nappy changes?

My DD, 2.8 attends a private Nursery 3 days a week. She is still in nappies.

I know they are changing her in the day as we use different nappies at home to the ones we send into Nursery, and they mark off on her sheet they've changed her and whether it's wet or soiled.

According to their website they change at morning snack time (10am), Some time between lunch and snack time (lunch at 11.30 and she's usually down for her nap by 12.30), afternoon snack time (1.30-2pm), and then before going home (I pick up at 4.30/4.45ish). They also change children as required and they are checked regularly throughout the day.

When I get there at 4.30 the staff are mentioning that they haven't done the last nappy change of the day. Remembering the most she's gone in that nappy is 2.5 - 3 hours would you be bothered? They will check her and change her if it's wet (she usually soils in the morning) but if not ask me if I want it doing. I only change as required at home, and that's usually only 4-5 times a day but that includes the first nappy of the day and a last change before bed/after bath, so she's being changed about what she would be at home.

Would this bother you? I am certain they are changing her throughout the day as it's ticked off on her sheet with the times and I've picked up at different times of the day and one or two staff have been in the changing room changing childrens nappies. So it's just the last one of the day.

I'm asking because my DH feels uneasy about it, and thinks we should mention it to the manager that maybe they should check/change DD earlier (I think the system is in order of importance, so soiled nappies done first then in alphabetical order of surname, our surname begins with T so she could be one of the last to be changed and I'm getting there to early for her to have been done)

I wouldn’t complain at all. If she’s been changed at 2, she doesn’t need changing again before 4:30. The children at the nursery I work at attend for 3-hour sessions and we don’t routinely change them unless soiled, very wet or the parent tells us they are sore.

In these circumstanes it seems unreasonable to complain.

It would take him 2 minutes to change the nappy when he gets home - it seems odd to request the nursery to do an earlier change when the reason for the request is that he doesn't like changing nappies. It seems a bit lazy of him.
