I’ve recently (3days ago) put my lg into a new nursery. She is 15 months and does display separation anxiety. She was fine in her old nursery and has been full time since 9 months. but now scream when I leave her and is unsettled and tearful all day. Screams again when I pick her up then is all smiles. (Little faker!) She also has a cold and is teething. I’m assuming this is a phase and will pass. Has anyone had similar or can offer any advice. Tia x

Completely normal. I would expect a few months to really settle in a new place. Even when our nursery closed for Christmas (closed for 2 weeks), it took mine about a month or more to settle back in after she went back. It's all very new and she doesn't quite have bonds there with her caregivers yet, so absolutely to be expected, especially when she isn't feeling well. I'd expect it to be better after about 2 months really, but anything before is just a bonus. Hoping it's sooner for you.

3 days is no time at all, did she have any settling in before this?

Thank you. She hated her settling sessions too. Today has been better already. Mild sobbing instead of full blown screaming. Small steps and all that. N x
