Childcare vouchers payment to old carer

Hi there

So I've only just realised that my childcare vouchers are still being paid to the nursery that my son has stopped going to. The standing order wasn't cancelled and they've been paid since 1st Nov17 when my sons last day there was 18th Oct17.

Is there any way I can get the last 3 months of payment back (£124/month they've been getting extra!). Who should I contact?

Thanks in advance x

Contact the nursery and see if they can return them to your voucher company.

You will have to contact the nursery and ask them
I wouldn't expect them to do it as a matter of urgency though

Thank you both, spoke with nursery today and they are looking into how they can refund X

This exact thing happened to me. The nursery just paid them back eventually and I paid it to new nursery. I kept a paper trail incase it ever comes up with hmrc as advised by the voucher company.
