30 Free Hours - when to apply??

DD turns 3 in October so she should be eligible from Jan 2018 right?

When do I need to actually apply for the code?? Everything I can find is based on children who are already 3 or 4. Can I do it now or do I have to wait until she turns 3?? Or the beginning of the term before she's eligible is in September???

I would advise ringing them. I have found them quite useful on the phone as opposed to the website!!

She will be eligible from January 2018, as far as I know you should be able to get your code in December, you then need to reapply for another code before the start of each term (1st Jan, 1st Apr, 1st Sept are the first days of term).

You have to reapply every 3 months, so I would apply in early December.

You can apply 16 weeks before the term after they are due to start.
