Hi all,

I am considering starting a playgroup for 2-5 year olds. Problem I have is I can't secure a venue for a full week.

As a parent, would it put you off if you could only send your child Monday, Wednesday and Friday?

I know each persons needs are different but just trying to gauge a general consensus

Thank you!

Do you mean playgroup (where parents normally stay) or a nursery/pre-school?

A playgroup wouldn't have put me off as we only went 2 mornings a week, dropping to 1 for the first term DD was at pre-school.

If you actually mean a pre-school, then yes it would have put me off.

If you mean a playgroup where the parents stay then that's fine because the parent would probably chose the sessions they want to attend.

If you mean like a nursery then it would put me off because I need a little bit of flexibility in DDs days due to her medical conditions.

If it's a playgroup mum's are unlikely to want to go 3 days I'd guess? If it's a Nursery then I think you'll struggle to find parents and staff who want those exact days

Most people wouldn't go to a playgroup more than a couple of times a week.
