DS has started crying at every drop offf

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this. My DS 2.5 has been at the same nursery since he was 1 and seemed to like it. He now cries at every single drop off for the last couple of months.

Nursery say they don't understand why and there's no specific reason. He's generally fine in the day but may burst out in tears. Has anyone had this, where their child started to cry during drop offf despite being at the nursery for some time?

Has he recently moved up to a different room? DD1 seemed well settled as a baby but after she moved up to the 'big kids' room she started to cry too, every morning, and saying "please don't leave me"! Sad This went on for about 6 months, then suddenly she was fine again.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I have just seen this. He did move rooms but seemed fine in the beginning. I'm glad to hear you LO has settled now - it's so hard!

Although he did go in with a big smile today. Hoping it continues
