What do you do for birthdays?

DD will be 1 next week. Should I send in a cake for the babies to share? What's the etiquette?

Quite a lot of children take in cakes at DS' nursery, but maybe 1 is a bit young.

I would wait 'til next year!

Ask the nursery. We were not allowed to bring in cakes but could give nursery some money to go and buy some. Something to do with alergies.
